Miami Springs
Established as the Country Club Estates in 1926 by New York aviator Glenn H. Curtiss. The city’s 2.9-square-mile, triangular-shaped city was the preferred area by persons working for the airline industry. Miami Springs is bordered by Town of Medley, City of Hialeah, Virginia Gardens and Miami International Airport. Home to 14,000 residents and a historic downtown area of professional offices, restaurants and small retail stores. The city features Cozy Corner, Siamo Pizza, Juniors Burgers, Crackers Casual Dining and Harvest Moon Bistro. The city also includes racquetball and tennis courts, parks, municipal pool, golf course, a new community center, theatre and a family-oriented atmosphere.
